Still at it

I now have about 16 little drawings, although I am behind on posting them. It feels good to do this every day and hopefully it will continue to improve my skills.

I have been successful in completing 1 drawing every day for 5 days this week. I haven't posted all of them because some of them are better than others. Hopefully, as time goes on, most of the drawings will be those that I could post.

So Far So Good

I have been creating a small drawing each day, minimun of 15 minutes, in my Moleskin sketchbook. The sketches now are about 2 5/8" x 3 1/4". These are two completed in the last two days.

Bear Cubs, 18" x 12", Oil on Canvas Board

This was the preliminary painting for a mural which is located now at Orem Elementary School. The mural itself is 10 feet x 6 feet. The mural itself was painted in collaboration with Trilea Minson, completed in the fall of 2006, installed in the spring of 2007.

This piece began as a plein air painting in June 2009, and was completed in the Fall of 2009. I have two others that have not yet been completed, which I will include as they are finished.

A New Start

I have come to a point where I want to network with other artists, and share art with others. Beginning today, I have the goal of doing a drawing a day, 5 days a week, for one month. I plan on posting some of these as time goes on. My purpose in doing this hone my drawing skills through regular practice.
